I spent my last few hours passing thru Old Town, an area of San Diego that depicts life in the Mexican and early American periods of 1821 to 1872.
If you have time, take the trolley and see the entire area and stop by the African Museum which has artifacts from all over the world, with specific focus on Africans in each continent. There is also a lot of information about former slaves who became early pioneers of San Diego.
I wish I could have stayed longer but i’ll be back…
